Affectinately Yours Layout

Hello My Stampin' Friends!

Today I would like to share with you this scrapbook layout.

Have you ever looked through pictures on your cell phone and find one that hits you right in the feels?  Well peeps this picture right here did exactly that. Hit me right in the feels. This picture of the hubby and I was taken at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Hawaii. This was our very FIRST trip that was just the two of us, no kids. It was like a honeymoon. It was wonderful. Of course when I saw it I had to document it.

I used the new affectionately yours specialty designer series paper. This paper is so gorgeous and it was PERFECT for this layout!

I also made some paper flowers using the botanical builder framelits. I liked how they came out.

I also used three different stamp sets. For the sentiment I used the new Love & Affection stamp set. I also used Gorgeous Grunge for the background and Bloomin Love Stamp set for the little heart.

I hope you enjoyed todays post.

Till next time peeps

Happy Stampin'

~Monica

The Case Of The Missing Blog Post!

Hello my Stampin friends! Happy Monday.

Well when you do read this it will be Monday =)

Today I would like to share with you some stuff I made for my upline Becky Roberts (Yes. The Becky Roberts from Inking Idaho) on the road event she held MONTHS AGO! Yes months ago. As I sit here and shake my head at myself for never posting, I still would like to share. Yes the stamp set and designer series paper are no longer available (Bubble Nuggets!) but no worries. As a added bonus to today's post and well it being Monday everyone's favorite day of the week.(Totally rolling my eyes here) I will be giving away the stamp set Party Wishes featured in today's post. Yes my friends leave me a comment. Which item you liked the most from this post. I will pick a winner on Friday (Fun Day). Just to clarify this stamp set is the one I purchased and USED to make these goodies. No need to worry I take good care of my stamps.

First up is this cake slice. Remember when I said this was one of my favorite dies? It was a MUST to make featuring the party wishes set. Hello Stampin peeps! Party = cake right?

Second is this scrapbook layout I made using a project life page layout. Pictures I used are from my Chloe girls 2nd birthday. (She is now 5. Where does the time go?)

Here is the back.

Third we have this card that's also a gift card holder and candy holder. I wish I could remember who originally made this years ago. I like to give credit where it's do. If by any chance you reading this designed this, Thank You for sharing. You have inspired me to make one of my own.

Here is a closer look at the chocolates.

Up next is another project I made that was inspired by another SU demo. She just so happens to be part of the Artisan Design team. Thank you for the inspiration Joyce Fowler!

Now we have this little mason jar filled with some yummy chocolate eggs.

Up next is this lovely treat holder
.

I really love how the stamped cupcakes came out!

Okay last one for today. Here is a card I made. This design was featured in the occasions catalog. It was too cute to not replicate.

There you have it my friends. Hope you enjoyed reading this picture heavy post. Don't forget to leave me a comment so you can be entered to win the party wishes stamp set!

Till next time Happy Stampin'!

Thank You Card

Hello my Stampin' Friends! Happy Friday!!!

Today I would like to share with you a Thank You card I made. One can never have "too many" thank you cards. =)

I used the new stamp set Penned & Painted. I did do a little bit of "fussy" cutting for one flower.  I then popped it up with some stampin' dimensionals.

I added a little bit of Bermuda bay stitched ribbon to bottom of card. Used the Thoughtful banners stamp set for the thank you sentiment and punched it out with the classic label punch. Added it to ribbon and BOOM done. (Drops Mic)

Hope you enjoyed this card. Have a fun and crafty weekend!

Till next time friends!

Happy Stampin'!

Hello Friend

Hello My Stampin' Friends!

Happy Friday! Today I would like to share with you two cards I made with the Remarkable You and Thoughtful Banners stamp set.

This first card is a note size card which was perfect for these Calla Lily Flowers. I made this card for a friend of mine and she loved it because she said it was totally me. I'm always saying "Hello Friend". When I saw this new stamp set I knew I had to have it! I used a aqua painter to color in the vines and the center of the flowers.
I also used the Wink Of Stella Glitter brush in clear to outline the flowers. I love how it came out!

This next card is a small 3x3 card. This is one of the cards I will be mailing out to my customers this month who place a order with me.

Have you used a aqua painter or wink of Stella glitter brush? If so how do you like it? Leave me a comment below. I would love to hear from you!

Birthday Baker's Box

Hello my Stampin' Friends!

Today I would like to share with you this cute baker's box!

I made this using the Baker's Box Thinlits and the Big Shot. I also used the new Swirly Scribbles Thinlits for the emerald envy swirl behind my flamingo.  Let me just say I LOVE MY BIG SHOT! Did you know that Stampin' Up carries 52 dies and 18 embossing folders? So many possibilities! Which equals WINNING!!

Okay now back to my box. I used some playful palette designer series paper. I also used two stamp sets. One of course was pop of paradise for the cute flamingo. The other stamp set I used is the new thoughtful banners stamp set. Here is a picture of what is offered in this new set.

Graduation Shaker Card

Hello my Stampin' Friends!

Today I would like to share with you a shaker card I made for a good friend of mine son who just graduated junior high last week.

This card was pretty easy to make thanks to Stampin' Up's new foam adhesive strips! Make sure you put these babies on your wish list. So easy to use and you can make cute shaker cards!! I most warn you though. Once you make one you get HOOKED! =)

For the cute little stars I used the confetti stars punch with daffodil delight and emerald green cardstock. Speaking of stars I used the lucky stars embossing folder for the top layer of card.

I used the Celebrate Today stamp set with coordinating Balloon Framelits Dies. So many possibilities with this set. Check it out below.

Here are the coordinating dies. No need to "fussy cut".

I also used the playful palette designer series paper to make the bow. Which was made with the bow builder punch. I just added a little snip of  emerald green ruched ribbon and gold 1/8 ribbon.
